Our doors are made of knotty pine, sourced from local lumber yards. We love using knotty pine as it is cost effective, allowing us to create a unique home accent piece for you at an affordable price, and it looks phenomenal with wood stain applied. The knots in the wood also add to the uniqueness and rustic character of our doors. Upon request, we can also use reclaimed wood, poplar, or a wide variety of other wood types if your design calls for it. Should you wish to have your door painted rather than stained, we recommend the use of poplar as this wood is smooth with little to no knots, and takes paint very well.
